Swift Microwave Therapy
Personal & tailored
Treatments
Swift Microwave Therapy is a pioneering new technology used to treat skin lesions without the need for invasive surgery
- Home
- Archive by Category "Treatments"
A new and precise technology
Swift is the pioneering new microwave therapy for skin. With treatment times in seconds, Swift microwave treatment provides us with a new, precise, and easy way of treating soft tissue lesions that don’t involve minor surgery, thus minimising the possibility of scarring and resulting in near zero recovery downtime.
Prior to Swift, the treatment options for soft tissue lesions were limited and the results were varied. Excision, cryotherapy, and acid therapies are all commonplace but have very limited efficacy. These treatments can also be painful and drawn out—sometimes taking months to complete a course.
Swift microwave treatment is different. Each session lasts up to 10 seconds in 2-second pulses. There is no cutting, no bleeding, and no downtime. It’s quick, comfortable, and allows you to resume normal activities immediately. This makes Swift microwave verruca treatment an excellent alternative for persistent verrucas that have not responded to traditional methods.
How safe are microwaves?
Microwaves have been in clinical use for over 30 years and are used globally in the effective treatment of cancer.
Non ionising radiation
One of the first published papers on the use of microwaves in medicine was in 1986—when researchers from Japan described a method of treating liver tumours. Those techniques have advanced significantly since then, and Emblation—the company behind Swift—is a key technology supplier to the largest medical device company in the world operating in this space. The same fundamental technology that powers Swift is also used in the treatment of lung, liver, kidney, and breast cancer in countries all over the world.
Microwaves are a form of non-ionising radiation, which means that they can’t cause damage to the DNA of living cells. Microwaves sit between radio waves and infrared waves (at any frequency between 300MHz and 300GHz—Swift itself operates at 8GHz) in the electromagnetic spectrum.
Treatments at low power
The Swift system delivers very low energy levels compared with other electromagnetic energy forms. Swift microwave treatment is only capable of supplying enough energy to agitate water molecules and cause friction—as opposed to damaging DNA—and delivers less energy into the skin than most laser and electrocautery treatments.
Microwaves in everyday life
Aside from the kitchen appliance, microwaves are used in a number of everyday applications. Standard WiFi uses microwaves, as do mobile phones, Bluetooth, and cordless phones. Furthermore, most satellite communications systems—including GPS navigation—are based on the use of microwaves. We interact with microwaves in more ways than we know, every day.

Treatments
Polynucleotides, derived from DNA or RNA fragments, are versatile cosmetic compounds used for facial rejuvenation. They stimulate collagen production and enhance tissue repair, which improves skin texture, reduces wrinkles, and reverses the signs of ageing

A solution that works for you and your face
Polynucleotides (PNs) are the latest breakthrough in the field of aesthetic medicine, known for their ability to rejuvenate and refresh the skin. Dr Jonny prides himself in being a leading specialist in polynucleotide treatments in London.
This treatment utilises the power of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA and RNA, to encourage skin healing, collagen production, and overall skin revitalisation.
There are numerous benefits of receiving polynucleotide treatments for your face and here are a few reasons why it can enhance the appearance and health of the skin:
- Enhanced Skin Healing and Regeneration:
- Polynucleotides stimulate fibroblast activity at a cellular level, promoting collagen and elastin production.
- They accelerate the skin’s natural healing process, improving texture, tone, and elasticity.
- They contain anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce redness and swelling after aesthetic procedures or skin injuries.
- Increased Skin Hydration and Moisture Retention:
- Excellent hydrating properties make PNs suitable for dry or dehydrated skin.
- They attract and retain moisture, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
- Treatments result in firmer, smoother, and more supple skin, strengthening the skin barrier.
- Collagen Synthesis and Skin Firmness:
- Polynucleotides stimulate collagen synthesis to restore skin firmness and improve texture.
- They minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a youthful complexion.
- Reduction in Pigmentation and Scarring:
- Polynucleotides inhibit melanin production, reducing hyperpigmentation like age spots and melasma.
- They fade existing pigmentation and can help in reducing acne scars and facial scarring.
- Minimised Downtime and Side Effects:
- This is a minimally invasive procedure with fine needle injections very similar to those in anti-wrinkle or filler injections.
- The treatments are well tolerated with minimal discomfort, allowing for an immediate return to daily activities.
- Ideal for patients seeking skin rejuvenation without significant downtime or as a complement to RF microneedling treatment in our London clinic.
In summary Polynucleotide treatments performed at our London clinic provide a non-invasive and effective solution for various skin concerns, including signs of ageing, pigmentation issues, and scarring. By using the building blocks of DNA and RNA we are able to rejuvenate the skin, collagen and connective tissue to restore youth.

Fat Dissolving Injections
Personal & tailored
Treatments
Fat dissolving injections break down and absorb targeted fat cells, reducing areas of unwanted fat collection such as the double chin and abdomen.

Fat-dissolving injections
Fat-dissolving injections, such as Aqualyx and Celluform, work through a process known as lipolysis. Lipolysis involves the breakdown and elimination of fat cells in specific areas of the body.
Aqualyx and Celluform are injectable solutions that contain active ingredients, typically a form of deoxycholic acid or phosphatidylcholine. These substances occur naturally in the body and assist in breaking down and absorbing dietary fats.
When injected into targeted areas of stubborn fat- such as the chin, jowls, abdomen, thighs or hips- these solutions disrupt the integrity of the fat cells. This process leads to the release of fatty acids and triggers an inflammatory response.
Over time, the body’s natural metabolism processes the released fatty acids, gradually eliminating them through the lymphatic system. The treated fat cells are effectively destroyed and removed.
These injections are considered among the best fat dissolving injections for tackling areas resistant to diet and exercise, offering subtle yet visible sculpting.
The treatment involves a series of injections during a session, and the number of sessions required varies depending on individual needs and goals. Results become more noticeable as the body metabolises the treated fat cells, resulting in a slimmer and more contoured appearance in the targeted area. Fat dissolving injections for the stomach are especially popular among patients looking to contour this common area of concern without surgery.
It’s important to understand that fat-dissolving injections are not intended as a replacement for weight loss or a solution for obesity. They are most effective for reducing localized pockets of stubborn fat that have not responded to diet and exercise.
Before undergoing treatment, it is essential to have a consultation with me. I will assess your suitability, discuss potential risks and benefits, and create a personalised skin treatment plan using only the best fat dissolving injections available.

RF - microneedling

Treatments
Radiofrequency microneedling is a skin tightening procedure that combines microneedling with radiofrequency technology to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture.

Radio Frequency Microneedling - non surgical skin tightening
Radiofrequency microneedling treatments, such as the Candela Profound RF, offer several benefits for patients looking to enhance their skin’s appearance. These advanced procedures have gained popularity for their effectiveness and versatility, especially among those seeking RF microneedling in London. Here are some key advantages of RF microneedling treatment:
- Skin Tightening and Firming:
By delivering radiofrequency energy to the deeper layers of the skin through fine needles, this treatment stimulates collagen production and encourages tissue remodeling. This helps tighten and firm the skin, reducing sagging and enhancing skin elasticity—one of the key RF microneedling benefits. - Reduction in Wrinkles:
Through increased collagen production, RF microneedling treatment can diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The boosted collagen levels promote skin rejuvenation, resulting in a smoother and more youthful complexion. - Scar Improvement:
Radiofrequency microneedling can be effective in reducing the visibility of scars, including acne scars and surgical scars. The treatment helps remodel scar tissue, stimulating the growth of new collagen and enhancing the texture and appearance of the skin. - Refinement of Skin Texture:
The micro-needles used in the treatment create controlled, tiny channels in the skin, triggering the skin’s natural healing response. This aids in refining the skin’s texture, reducing roughness, large pores, and uneven skin tone. - Minimal Downtime:
RF microneedling in London is a popular option due to its minimal downtime compared to more invasive procedures. While there may be some temporary redness and mild swelling immediately after the treatment, these effects typically subside within a few days, allowing you to resume your normal activities relatively quickly. - Long-Lasting Results:
The stimulation of collagen production initiated by radiofrequency microneedling can yield long-lasting results. The gradual improvement in skin quality and texture can continue for several months after the procedure, providing sustained and noticeable benefits.
As with any cosmetic procedure, it is important to prepare and plan together. At Dr Jonny Aesthetics, I will evaluate your skin condition, discuss potential benefits and risks, and create a personalised treatment plan to help you achieve your desired outcomes.
Additionally, if you have concerns about pigmentation or skin lesions, it’s wise to undergo skin cancer screening in London before beginning any aesthetic treatment plan- which can be performed at Dr Jonny Aesthetics.

Wrinkle Reduction
Personal & tailored
Treatments
Bespoke wrinkle reduction injections for your face which are designed to smooth out signs of ageing
- Home
- Archive by Category "Treatments"
A solution that works for you and your face
Wrinkles affect us all – some more than others. They’re caused by a combination of the natural ageing process and the constant use of our facial muscles. Years of frowning, squinting in the sun, or even laughing all contribute to the formation of lines.
This happens because the muscles responsible for these expressions rarely rest, and as we age, collagen beneath the skin gradually diminishes. As a result, the skin loses firmness and becomes more prone to creasing.
This is where wrinkle reduction treatments at Dr Jonny Aesthetics can make a real difference. These carefully tailored procedures address the most common areas of concern while enhancing your natural look. In addition to smoothing lines, they act as highly effective skin tightening treatments for the face, helping to restore a firmer, more lifted appearance over time.
Using only UK-sourced products, I offer bespoke wrinkle reduction treatments in London and Surrey, individually tailored to your specific facial shape and contour. No one person will have the same facial profile, so all treatments are focused around you and your face.
Your safety and care is paramount
The highest level of care and detail
My goal is to deliver the highest standard of attention and care throughout your appointment. It begins with a personalised consultation, where we’ll have a full and honest discussion about your goals, preferences, and any questions you may have.
There’s never any obligation or pressure to proceed, this is about making sure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident in your decision.
Tailored & individual treatments
Every face is unique, and so is every treatment. Whether you’re after subtle enhancement or more visible rejuvenation, this is your opportunity to communicate exactly what you want. I use facial mapping to determine which areas will respond best to treatment and explain both standard and more advanced options that may suit your needs.
For those seeking non-invasive skin tightening treatments for the face, wrinkle reduction procedures can significantly improve skin elasticity and firmness with minimal downtime, giving you results that are both natural and noticeable.
Although you may feel a little sensation during the procedure, most people are surprised by how little discomfort they actually experience. We also offer an additional service of a pain reducing CO2 skin cooling device that minimises pain during and after treatments for those nervous about pain (there is a small additional fee for this). Recovery is straightforward and you will be given comprehensive aftercare information.
To further elevate your results, I also offer some of the best dermal fillers in London, which can complement wrinkle reduction treatment by restoring lost volume and refining facial contours.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Personal & tailored
Treatments
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is one of my very favourite anti ageing treatments. It is an extremely effective treatment for facial rejuvenation due to its ability to stimulate collagen production and promote tissue regeneration.
- Home
- Archive by Category "Treatments"
Using nature’s natural healing mechanisms
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a popular and effective treatment for facial rejuvenation due to its ability to stimulate collagen production and promote tissue regeneration. PRP is derived from your own blood, making it a natural and safe option for facial rejuvenation. PRP treatment is available in our London clinic.
PRP works by utilising the growth factors and healing properties found in the platelets of your blood. The treatment process involves the following steps:
- Blood Collection: A small amount of your blood is drawn, typically from your arm, similar to a standard blood test.
- Centrifugation: The collected blood is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components, such as red blood cells.
- PRP Preparation: The concentrated platelet-rich plasma, which contains a higher concentration of platelets and growth factors, is isolated and prepared for the treatment.
- Treatment Application: The PRP is either injected directly into targeted areas or applied topically during procedures such as PRP microneedling performed at our London clinic.
The platelets in the PRP release growth factors that promote cell growth, collagen synthesis, and tissue repair. These growth factors stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin fibers, enhancing the skin’s elasticity, texture, and overall appearance. PRP also helps improve blood circulation and tissue regeneration, resulting in a healthier, rejuvenated complexion.
How does it work?
The benefits of PRP treatment at our London clinic for facial rejuvenation include:
- Natural Approach: Since PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood, there is a reduced risk of adverse reactions or allergies.
- Collagen Stimulation: PRP triggers the production of new collagen, which helps improve skin texture, firmness, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
- Skin Rejuvenation: The growth factors in PRP promote the regeneration of skin cells, leading to a more radiant and youthful-looking complexion.
- Scar Improvement: PRP can be effective in reducing the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars, and other types of scars by stimulating tissue repair and remodelling.
- Minimally Invasive: PRP treatments are minimally invasive and generally well-tolerated, with little to no downtime.
It is important to note that multiple PRP treatment sessions may be necessary to achieve the desired results, and individual responses may vary.
PRP - how can it help me?
- Facial Rejuvenation: PRP can be injected into specific areas of the face to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It can also enhance overall facial volume and provide a more youthful appearance.
- Skin Rejuvenation: PRP can be combined with procedures like PRP microneedling at our London clinic or fractional laser resurfacing to enhance the results. The growth factors in PRP help promote healing, stimulate cellular turnover, and improve skin tone and texture.
- Hair Restoration: PRP can be injected into the scalp to stimulate hair growth and combat hair loss. The growth factors in PRP promote hair follicle regeneration, improve hair thickness, and increase hair density.
- Scar Treatment: PRP can be used to improve the appearance of scars, including acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks. It helps stimulate collagen production and tissue remodeling, leading to smoother and more even-textured skin.
- Hand Rejuvenation: PRP injections can be used to improve the appearance of aging hands by promoting collagen production, reducing wrinkles, and restoring volume.
At Dr Jonny Aesthetics, we also offer cutting-edge regenerative treatments like polynucleotide treatments at the London clinic, which work synergistically with PRP to deliver enhanced skin healing and rejuvenation. For patients seeking a more holistic, science-backed method of skin renewal, platelet-rich plasma therapy with Dr Jonny in London remains one of the most effective and natural solutions available.

- Lips: PRP injections can help enhance lip volume, improve lip texture, and minimize fine lines around the mouth.
- Forehead and Temple: PRP treatments can target forehead lines, wrinkles, and temple hollows, improving the overall appearance of the upper face.
Body Areas:
- Scalp: PRP injections in the scalp can stimulate hair growth, strengthen hair follicles, and address hair loss or thinning.
- Hands: PRP can rejuvenate the appearance of the hands by improving skin texture, reducing wrinkles, and restoring volume.
- Décolletage: PRP treatments can help improve skin tone, texture, and elasticity in the chest area, reducing the signs of aging.
- Stretch Marks: PRP can be used to address stretch marks on various body areas, such as the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks, by promoting collagen production and skin rejuvenation.
It’s important to note that the specific treatment areas may vary depending on individual needs and goals. We will create a treatment plan together using all the information from your assessment.
45-60 minutes
While responses to treatment vary, most people will require 3-5 sessions, however patients do report seeing benefits even after one session. Each set of treatments is spaced approximately 4-6 weeks apart.
There is no limit to the number of treatments you can have. Your clinician will determine your treatment protocol according to your skin condition
The results of PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatments can vary depending on individual factors such as skin condition, treatment area, and the number of sessions undergone. While specific outcomes may differ for each person, here are some potential results you may observe after a course of PRP treatments:
- Improved Skin Texture: PRP can help enhance skin texture by stimulating collagen production and promoting tissue regeneration. Over time, you may notice smoother and more refined skin texture.
- Reduction in Fine Lines and Wrinkles: PRP treatments can contribute to the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly in areas like the forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and mouth. The increase in collagen production can lead to a more youthful appearance.
- Enhanced Skin Tone and Radiance: PRP can improve skin tone and promote a radiant complexion. It can address issues such as uneven pigmentation, dullness, and sun damage, resulting in a healthier, more vibrant glow.
- Decreased Appearance of Scars: PRP has the potential to reduce the appearance of scars, including acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks. The treatment promotes tissue remodeling, leading to smoother and more even-textured skin.
- Hair Regrowth and Thicker Hair: For those undergoing PRP treatments for hair restoration, an increase in hair density and thickness may be observed. PRP stimulates hair follicles, leading to improved hair growth and overall hair health.
Yes, PRP treatments can be used on all skin types and colours.
The outcomes of PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatments may not be immediately apparent and may take some time to manifest. While there might be immediate effects like mild skin tightening, temporary plumping, or a subtle glow, the complete advantages of PRP typically unfold gradually over weeks to months. Here’s a breakdown of the timeline for PRP results:
1. Immediate Effects:
– Post-PRP treatment, immediate improvements like mild skin tightening and a temporary plumping effect may be observed.
– These instant effects are primarily due to the hydrating and revitalising properties of the PRP solution.
2. Short-Term Effects:
– In the first few weeks after treatment, additional enhancements in skin texture, increased skin hydration, and a more radiant complexion may become noticeable.
– These effects result from the stimulation of collagen production and tissue regeneration initiated by the PRP.
3. Long-Term Effects:
– The complete benefits of PRP treatments become more evident over time.
– Ongoing collagen synthesis and tissue regeneration processes lead to progressive improvements in skin tone, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, and diminished appearance of scars or other skin concerns.
– These long-term effects are typically more noticeable after multiple PRP sessions, as the cumulative effects of collagen production and tissue remodelling take place.
It’s essential to recognise that individual responses to PRP can vary. Factors like the treatment area, the extent of the concern being addressed, and an individual’s unique physiology can influence the timeline and degree of results. Additionally, maintaining a healthy skincare routine and following post-treatment instructions can optimise and prolong the benefits of PRP treatments.
Treatment results vary, however, in most patients the results last up to 18 months. Touch-up treatments will maintain the results.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatments are generally considered safe and well-tolerated. Since PRP utilises your blood, the risk of adverse reactions or allergic responses is minimal. However, as with any medical procedure, there can be potential side effects. Here are some commonly reported side effects associated with PRP:
- Mild Discomfort: During the PRP procedure, you may experience mild discomfort at the injection sites. This can include sensations like temporary stinging, burning, or pressure. However, any discomfort is typically well-tolerated and subsides quickly.
- Redness and Swelling: After the treatment, some individuals may experience mild redness and swelling at the injection sites. This is a normal response and usually resolves within a few hours to a few days.
- Bruising: In some cases, bruising may occur at the injection sites. This is a temporary side effect that typically resolves within a few days.

Digital Mole Scanning
Personal & tailored
Treatments
Cutting edge imaging technology is used to assess and analyse moles on the skin, to help detect any potential signs of skin cancer.
- Home
- Archive by Category "Treatments"
Skin cancer is now the fastest growing cancer in the UK.
If you are becoming increasingly concerned about a mole(s), they will be analysed with the best technology available, giving you a diagnosis and peace of mind through professional skin cancer screening in London.
You will be examined by Dr Jonny himself. Your moles will be scanned, and you will be told what you should look out for in the future. Many patients also enquire about mole removal in London, which can be discussed during your consultation if necessary.
You will leave your appointment feeling more knowledgeable about moles. Going forward, the hope is that you’ll be able to spot abnormal moles on friends and family. Early detection through regular skin cancer screening in London can make all the difference.
There are three main options for mole checks
- The ATBM total body check: A full body digital mole scan is £300. The whole process takes about an hour. It involves a 4-stage scan process including AI analysis and dermatoscopic interpretation. All moles are covered and you are given a digital copy of your mole scan when you leave.
- A single mole check: Some patients only want one mole to be checked and scanned. This service costs £100 and you also get a digital mole report. If needed, options for mole removal in London can be explored following analysis.
- SIAscopic mole analysis: This offers more detailed imaging of the mole (see below for detailed explanation) and can be added on to any of the above options for a fee of £100.
Body mapping proceedure
Digital mole scanning - what is SIAscopy™?
Spectrophotometric Intracutaneous Analysis (SIA) is a fast, non-invasive and completely safe method of scanning which provides colour bitmaps called SIAscans™ that show the relative location of blood, collagen and pigment. It is easy to perform and allows examination of skin lesions. SIAscopy™ understands the way that light interacts with the skin; the manner in which it scatters or bounces, the amount absorbed by cells and other structures along with the different changes in wavelength or colour.
How does Siascopy™ work?
MoleMate™ and SIMSYS™ both use the Siascope™ handheld scanner. When the scanner illuminates the skin, some of the light is reflected and scattered from the surface. The remainder is transmitted into the top layers of the skin. Varying fractions of the incoming light are then firstly absorbed by the pigment in the epidermis before entering the dermis, where they are absorbed by the haemoglobin in the blood vessels. Scattering also occurs in the dermis when the light interacts with the collagen, resulting in a portion of the light being remitted back to the surface.
By interpreting the combination of wavelengths that are received back, the SIAscope™ is then able to produce SIAscans™; these are generated by referring to inbuilt proprietary mathematical models of skin optics. MoleMate™ is then able to present us with the generated SIAscans™ for interpretation by Dr. Jonny. If a mole is found to require removal, care is taken to minimise the chance of a mole removal scar.
