Fat Dissolving Injections

Fat-dissolving injections, such as Aqualyx and Celluform, work through a process known as lipolysis. Lipolysis involves the breakdown and elimination of fat cells in specific areas of the body.

Aqualyx and Celluform are injectable solutions that contain active ingredients, typically a form of deoxycholic acid or phosphatidylcholine. These substances occur naturally in the body and assist in breaking down and absorbing dietary fats.

When injected into targeted areas of stubborn fat, such as the chin, jowls, abdomen, thighs, or hips, these solutions disrupt the integrity of the fat cells. This process leads to the release of fatty acids and triggers an inflammatory response.

Over time, the body’s natural metabolism processes the released fatty acids, gradually eliminating them from the body through the lymphatic system. The treated fat cells are effectively destroyed and removed.

The treatment involves a series of injections during a session, and the number of sessions required varies depending on individual needs and goals. Results become more noticeable as the body metabolises the treated fat cells, resulting in a slimmer and more contoured appearance in the targeted area.
